Our famous FTR330 series strainer with the distinctive raised cross still leads the way, being in far more installations than any other, all of our cooling water strainers have a transparent cover for easy inspection of the filter without dismantling. The filter seldom needs to be cleaned, but this can be easily and quickly achieved.
Typical installation
VETUS advises users to always install the water strainer above the waterline. Only type CWS and FTR330.M series can be installed below the waterline. Always install a quality seacock behind the inlet water scoop.
